The First Burn
It’s important to get this first burn right because the wax pool you get for the first burn will be the wax pool you get every time you burn your candle. Burn the candle one hour, for every inch in width, the wax pool needs to get as close to the edge of the container as possible.
Try to occasionally burn your candle for a few hours to make sure it continues burning properly. Too many short burns will cause the candle to 'tunnel' .
